klamauk is back in the “ramba-zamba-on-the-dancefloor”-game with four cleverly constructed microfunky tracks – i’ll celebrate those sureshots. furthermore i gotta say: m.f. did quite a good artwork-job!

once again a great vinyl… all tracks are picked up very well!! my fav is cellute eat. a great wild funkyness with frisky sample-salad. keep on this amazing work!!!

Fat runner: Love the panning on the bass at the start, great dark vibe and plenty of movement to keep the track interesting :) Heads down groover, great track.
Ape shave: Really liking all the samples that cut in and out, and the a-tonal sound of them. Liking the slightly more lofi mixdown as well :) Very Akufen, in the best possible way
Crimes of the future: Really nice still intro and like the contrast given by the punchy synth. Again liking the akufen esque micro samples as well. Interesting to see how both Michael Fluhr and Paradroid have both used the micro samples. The synth that comes in just after halfway adds the final element to tie the track together. Again, really good track :)
William Told: Another great use of micro samples. Can see why these tracks are on the same ep. Each one interestingly different but with a common thread too. Another great track :)
Such a well rounded ep, great insight from the label and fantastic art from the producers. Really enjoying all these tracks and thank you for sending the promo over. Five out of five :)

Like the first three ones, the 004 is a piece of true mainz-based mircofunk and modener house-music. For this release Paradroid hits my mind the most.

Another great one from Klamauk ! The cover is always good so is the music.
The tracks are dancefloor killers and fun to listen to at the same time.
A great use of samples on Ape Shave, Crimes of the Future and William Told, very funny.
I think I prefer side B… but am I sure ? héhé =)

Yeah Yeah Mainz attacks again with another proper release. Nice to see a Thema artist representing properly on it too! The Ark + Keri and Paradroid tracks are my pick of the bunch! Rock on yo!
